Since 2005, we have organised a specialist congress where we bring together leading industry specialists form all over the world. The theme for 2008 will “The better way to light the world”. The International LED Event 2008 took place February 12 -13 2008 in the Evoluon in Eindhoven.

Product development :
The first LED was developed in 1962, since then the industry has expanded rapidly.
LEDexpert closely follows the developments in the field and works with all main suppliers and developers. We have extensive knowledge of LED application and we specialise in developing functional prototypes based on your needs.

Optical
Using advanced and specialised software for optical simulations, LEDexpert shapes your optical design to verify if it corresponds to your specifications. These are for instance luminance, intensity, homogeneously and colour differences.

Thermal
The life expectancy of a LED is determined a.o. by the temperature of the chip. A sound thermal design is key in the development of a succesful LED-based product.
Our customized software for simulation and the expertise of LEDexpert provide a platform for the development of a sound thermal design. This design is subsequently verified using simulation and prototyping.

Electrical
Using her expertise LEDexpert will develop an extensive electrical specification. This document enables in close collaboration with partners the subsequent development of an electrical design.

System analayses
Each new LED-application provides a challenge by the complex combination of multiple parameters. The unique expertise of LEDexpert comes from the development of a large and number of diverse LED applications. It gives us a clear view on the LED-application as a system and helps us to analyse it.

Illumination competence
Our wide experience and sound theoretical skills offer you the opportunity to develop with LEDexpert an optimal light technical design including its analysis. This area also includes illumination science and colorimetry.

Training
LEDexpert is associated with the Philips Centre for Technical Training (CTT) and The Mikrocentrum. We delivered these instates with training material and provide instructors. We, at LEDexpert, can design and deliver customised training according to your needs.
